Highlights:

  • Trent has taken very detailed observations during his time in room 37 and has implemented some of his observations into his own practice.
  • Trent is organised and presents his planning in a timely manner.
  • Trent’s planning shows good curriculum links and helps inform his teaching. He shows he is able to cater to all learners within my class (4a).
    • Trent has completed both formative and summative assessment to inform his planning. He has reflected on these and adapted his future planning.
  • Trent has used some Maori during his time. He will need to build on this more during his last week,
  • Trent is very reflective. He seeks out feedback on what he can improve on for next time. Trent needs to also reflect on what worked well.
  • Trent has attended all professional meetings (7c), even on my behalf when I was unable to attend. He has had an active role in these meetings.
  • Trent has shown true professionalism throughout his entire placement.
  • He has shown that he is a very capable teacher and is working beyond what is expected of a teacher on their 2nd placement.
